Customer service representative jobs are employed by many different establishments to serve as a point of contact for the firm's customers. These workers are responsible for ensuring that the customers receive an adequate level of customer service through resolving any inquires questions, or problems about the firm's products or services. The minimum educational requirement for customer service representative jobs is at least a high school diploma. It is projected that customer service representative employment will increase 25 percent from 2006 to 2016 which is much faster than the national average for all occupations. Job prospects should remain excellent for individuals with previous customer service experience, strong interpersonal communication skills, and high computer proficiency.
